COMMUNITY : Small Groups

Our small groups serve as the primary way we reach out to the different generations in our church family. We gather together in recognition of our inability to do life alone. Our hope is to create unity in diversity as people interact with those who are perhaps a little unlike themselves.

We believe in an incarnational, missional, sacrificial model which seeks depth over width. We pray, and work, that our practice lines up with those beliefs. With that thought we have intentionally designed our small group ministry to be multigenerational.

These groups are a blend of young and old, married and single — a beautiful picture of extended family where everyone's unique life stage and experience strengthen the group.

Within a group meeting we have a time of sharing testimonies of what God has recently done in our lives, prayers, singing, and an extended discussion on how the Sunday's message applies practically in our lives.

Recognizing the busyness of all of our schedules our small groups meet twice a month and when the month has a 5th Tuesday we bring all the groups together for some kind of fun activity. As far as child care each group that has families with younger children works out obtaining a teenager who attends the group to assist with the children so the parents can participate fully in the group.

As we get more people interested we will expand the number of small groups we offer. You may contact Pastor Ron if you are interested in participating in a small group.

Come join in the fun with a Bethel Bible study.
